Airbnb: The Bluey House

Airbnb is home to incredible stays in weird and wonderful properties.

So to show that, we built one of the most iconic properties in Australia: the Heeler home from Bluey.

We took over a suburban Queenslander in Brisbane and over 6 months, completely transformed it to bring the Bluey experience to life. Everything from the house’s red letterbox to Bluey and Bingo’s room, the bone shaped chimney and the stained glass window fixture was meticulously recreated.

We even included an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the Ludo Studio, a Chinese takeaway feast and an afternoon decorating duck cake. And for people who couldn’t come, we hosted an interactive online Jam and Dance session hosted from the house with one of the Bluey composers and vocalists from the show.

Then we listed it on Airbnb as a one-off stay for one family for $20, and it went absolutely gangbusters with close to 700 hits in Australia alone – including 280+ broadcast hits.
